Activity First Aid

This course covers essential first aid skills tailored for outdoor and sporting activities. You’ll learn how to manage common injuries such as cuts, sprains, fractures, and bleeding, plus how to handle emergencies like hypothermia, allergic reactions, and head injuries. Practical training includes assessing incidents in both indoor and outdoor settings.

You’ll develop the confidence to respond effectively to emergencies during activities like cycling, hiking, and horse riding. The course also includes guidance on creating emergency plans tailored to different environments.

This three-hour, Resuscitation Council-compliant course covers Basic Life Support (CPR) and the safe use of a defibrillator (AED). You’ll also learn how to recognise and respond to anaphylaxis, including emergency treatment and when to call for help. 

The course is a practical, confidence-building workshop designed to prepare you for real emergencies. You’ll practise CPR and AED use, alongside managing anaphylaxis scenarios. This course is engaging and straightforward, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. 

Ideal for staff in primary care, childcare, and other settings where anaphylaxis may occur. No prior first aid experience is necessary. By the end, you’ll have the knowledge and skills to act quickly and confidently in an anaphylaxis emergency.
